demo or album: all the way > THE PREPARATION

Preferably bands enter the studio well prepared. Consider carefully which songs you want to record. It's better to record a small number of songs after good preparation, than to work under time pressure and stress.

Rehearse the numbers thoroughly and pay attention to sound, feel and tempo. Unclear parts and undesirable changes in tempo will always come to light in the studio. See if you and your band are able to play with a click track.

Sometimes making a preproduction can be useful, as it saves you a lot of precious studio time. If you do so, leave enough room for the 'live feel' during the actual recording. We will gladly give advice for the preproduction.  On demand we also make complete backing tracks
